Three of these are one command that does everything. One is a guided setup. Nothing here asks you to write a config file by hand.

Before anything: preview access requires activation. The install runs, you create an account, then you need your contact to activate it. If you get an access error, reach out to whoever sent you here. No contact yet? We’ll email you when AITeam is Generally Available.

Proof it worked

When it goes sideways

Three things break for almost everybody. Here they are with the fix, so you don’t have to go looking.
Please tell your AI to report an AITeam bug and copy/paste the issue to it.

ait: command not found

The installer added the path to your shell profile, and your current shell didn’t read it. Open a new terminal, or add ~/.ait/bin to your PATH yourself.

unknown or missing instance

Your account exists but hasn't been activated yet. Reach out to whoever sent you here. Run ait doctor to see exactly what's missing.

JOIN_REQUIRED

This one wandered off the roster mid-session. You may have to ask one of your working agents to report the issue.
